    What a Lousy Day Comment

    Wednesday morning. Only half way through the week.

    Wife is sick, and I'm doing all I can to take care of her. I haven't gotten a decent night's sleep in weeks. I haven't been fishing in a month. Fred dropped out of the race. I haven't been to the range in two months. Money is tight. I'm ready for a long vacation, but there isn't one on the horizon. Maybe it isn't healthy to list out all the things that suck right now, but they come to mind easier than the things that are good. Lets try at least.

    At least it is warm and sunny today, maybe I can drive home from work with the top down on my car. Lets see...
    I also fulfilled my bi-annual requirement of providing a QoTD for Robb and someone else as well. What makes quoting me particularly good isn't the content of the quotes, but the contrast of my rare wit to the usual dryness. If I wrote with colorful language all the time, people would take me for granted.

    Reminds me of the guy who saw a billboard on the way home from work that said, \\\"Medical Diagnosis by Urinalysis, Guranteed Results in 24 hours.\\\" Well, his elbow had been bothering him, so he stopped by the advertised clinic and got a specimen cup. He went home and peed in the cup, then wanting to challenge the authenticity of the advertisement, got his wife to pee in the cup also. Then he had his daughter pee in the cup...and even managed to capture the family\\\'s dog pee. The man put the cap on the cup, shook it up and dropped it off at the clinic the next morning. At lunch, he received a phone call from the clinic stating that they had good news and bad news. O.K. says the guy, give me the bad news first...Well, your wife has syphillis, your daughter is pregnant, and your dog has the mange. But...the good news is...if you quit masturbating, your elbow won\\\'t hurt.
