So we're meeting with our banker today. Yup. We're getting ready to make the decision that will guarantee we'll be in debt for the rest of our lives. Its not like we won't be anyway, we have credit cards and I have lots of student loans... but theres a big difference between building up 20k in student loans and paying 115k for a house... some people actually pay off their student loans before they retire.
I'm not complaining though. We're being financially responsible here. Interest rates are still low, housing prices are starting to rise in Morgantown, and renting is just a waste of money. Heck, we've already both started a 401k or IRA, life insurance, and a savings account.
Feels like we're growing up. Feels like we already are grown up. How odd is that? I can still remember vividly playing "Ninjas" with Brian, from across the street. Of course, he's been married and has had a kid for years now. I remember watching Mary Lou Retton win the gold medal in gymnastics. Ok, so I get nostalgic a lot. It's only because I'm getting old
