| | | I just made a call to the Pinellas County Tax Office (where DHSMV business happens), to inquire about transferring my boat title and registration from WV. When I dialed the number, I was greeted with an automated answer. Diane Nelson's voice came over the line to inform me that calls were all answered by human beings. Kinda ironic, I thought, since that was a recording. But her message was only about 10 seconds long, then I was immediately transferred to a human!
No pressing 1 for English. No dodging around through a touch-tone labyrinth. The (surprisingly) cheerful voice who immediately answered was able to give me precisely the information I needed, quickly and efficiently.

Good job folks! I never had that kind of luck with the West Virginia DMV.

I know I'm still going to have to wait an hour while they call A3105, D3119, F1001, and C0149... but I'm just happy to have received such high quality phone support.
