This is BETTER than Sea World! Spoken by my niece during her first trip to the range.
What. A. Blast. And points for me. She had a fantastic time and wants to do it again before she goes home next week. Maybe after church on Sunday...
Before the trip to the range, we had a complete gun safety review, as well as a discussion about range rules and how the Mossberg Plinkster functions. At the range, I gave her some pointers as she burned up a ziplock bag full of .22lr.

Even the small youth-sized .22 rifle was a little large for her, but she got the hang of it pretty quickly.
I started out by loading and setting it up for her, but she quickly insisted on doing it herself. I'm still amazed at how quickly little kids learn things.
What a smile!
