There is currently a proposal to move the opening day of WV buck season to the weekend.
Um, that day is a de facto state holiday. You can't just take away a holiday.
The amazing thing is, people aren't really fighting over this. Just someone who thought it was a good idea, and suggested it. Unlike some power-drunk regulators, Jezioro says the DNR will only do it if people actually want it.
Which, clearly, they don't. Sure, it is a good idea in theory.
Still, common sense in the state government is refreshing. |
