I'm still not feeling very blogative today... too vegetative from the week+ of vacation.
I did get to hang out with Robb long enough for him to teach me the basics of reloading. I think I'll start cheap/simple and get a Lee Load All to do 12ga, which makes up the bulk of my ammunition expenses anyway. Then, if I ever do get involved with competitive pistol or rifle, I'll spend the dough to get a complete reloading setup.
I intend to find a basic, light, target load that I like and stick with it. It will be something that generically works well in all of my shotguns. All of the shells will be 2 3/4, with 1oz of #8 shot (or something close to that.) I'll use whatever primers are cheap, whatever wads are carried by the local shop, and only used hulls. I guess I gotta choose a powder to use, but I'm sure the old guy that runs the shop at our trap club can point me in the right direction.
I'm not really interested in variables... at least not right now.
